Yoga Therapy - A practice designed with you in mind
Are you constantly putting everyone else’s needs before your own, only to find yourself exhausted, overwhelmed and running on empty? If perimenopause has left you struggling with poor sleep, rising anxiety, achy muscles, brain fog or a body that no longer feels like your own, yoga therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and restore balance from the inside out.
Yoga must be adapted to the individual not the individual to the yoga.
– Krishnamacharya
What is yoga therapy?
Yoga Therapy is a gentle, step-by-step collaborative process where we work together to design a personal practice tailored specifically to your current needs, stage of life, and unique goals. Unlike a general studio class, this approach treats you as an individual, recognizing that your path to wellness is entirely your own.
A Practice Designed for Real Life
The heart of Yoga Therapy lies in its accessibility. We work hand-in-hand to co-create a personalized home practice that you feel genuinely excited to commit to – one that fits naturally and seamlessly into the reality of your daily routine, rather than feeling like another chore on your to-do list.
Supporting Your Complete Healthcare Team
Yoga Therapy is a holistic, complementary modality. It is designed to work in harmony with any other medical treatments or health therapies you are currently receiving, providing an extra layer of support for your nervous system and overall well-being. It never replaces your primary care; instead, it empowers you with practical tools to support your own healing process from the inside out.
How does it work?
Our journey together consists of three tailored sessions designed to build and refine your personalized home practice.
Phase 1: Assessment & Custom Design
Before our first meeting, you will complete an intake form exploring your current lifestyle, sleep, diet, life stage, and goals. During your initial session, we will discuss these details alongside an observation of your physical body, movement patterns, and posture. A traditional pulse reading will also be taken to determine your unique body type (dosha) and current constitutional state.
Shortly after this session, you will receive a customized plan via email detailing your new home practice, alongside specific lifestyle, nutrition, and therapeutic recommendations.
Phase 2: Implementation & Review
Once you have begun your practice, we will meet again in two to three weeks to review your progress, adjust any elements, and layer in new techniques. We will then schedule a final review session to ensure your program is fully integrated and supporting you effectively.
Phase 3: Long-Term Evolution
Your practice should evolve as you do. Moving forward, we can schedule further reviews every few months or whenever your personal goals change to ensure your program continues to meet your needs.
Your Practice builds upon itself when done with consistency.

Kind words
The Yoga Therapy with Louise has helped me rediscover a sense of connection with myself after many years away from a regular yoga practice. The three sessions were thoughtfully tailored to my individual goals and needs. I love Louise’s style of Yoga. It is gentle and centered on connecting with the breath. As a mother of young children, I’ve now been able to weave the practice into my daily life, creating valuable time just for me. Louise has a caring, personal approach, also sharing beautiful Ayurvedic wisdom for diet and lifestyle. I highly recommend her yoga therapy to anyone looking to reconnect with themselves in a gentle, supportive way. It is a truely nurturing experience. – Kate
